India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in their third match of the Women’s Asia Cup 2026. Chasing 56 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the Women in Blue reached the target in 8.4 overs, with all-rounder Deepti Sharma (12) and captain Harmanpreet Kaur (18) remaining unbeaten.
Pakistan skipper Fatima Sana took three wickets to bring some excitement to a one-sided affair. Shafali Verma (12), Smriti Mandhana (9) and Pratika Rawal (4) were undone by the rival team.
Earlier, India bowlers were among the wickets from the start of the match, with only two batters reaching the double-digit mark. Three Pakistan players, including Fatima, were unable to open their account. Shree Charani and Prema Rawat picked up three wickets each, while Deepti added two scalps to her bowling figures.
India have defeated Thailand, Hong Kong and Pakistan so far in the Continental Cup and are already in the semi-finals.
