Shefali Verma scored her first century in T20 International by playing an unbeaten 100 runs in 49 balls.

Nishin. Defending champion India secured a medal by making it to the final of the Asian Games Women's T20 cricket competition for the second consecutive time. Apart from already winning two silver medals in shooting, India is assured of a bronze medal in mixed martial arts. The women's cricket team defeated Bangladesh by 114 runs and secured a place in the gold medal match, ensuring another medal for India.

Shafali Verma scored her first century in T20 International by playing an unbeaten 100 runs in 49 balls, due to which India won the toss and batted first and scored a strong score of 195 runs for four wickets.

In response, Bangladesh lost wickets at regular intervals and the entire team was out for 81 runs in 15.4 overs. This is India's second biggest win in terms of runs against Bangladesh. For India, Deepti Sharma took seven wickets while Nandini Sharma took three wickets each giving 25 runs. Shri Charani also took two wickets for seven runs.

India will now face Sri Lanka in the gold medal match on Tuesday. In the last Asian Games also, the final was held between these two teams. Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by eight wickets in the first semi-final on Sunday. Pakistan will now face Bangladesh for the bronze medal on Tuesday.
