Sawan Barwal created history
If we talk about athletics, Sawan Barwal created history for India by winning the silver medal in the men's marathon 42.195 km race. Barwal took a time of 2 hours 11 minutes 37 seconds. With this medal, India's 44-year medal wait in the marathon event of the Asian Games ended. According to the report, Barwal has become only the fourth Indian athlete to win a marathon medal in Asian Games history.

Anahat Singh's big performance in squash
In squash, young Indian player Anahat Singh defeated Satomi Watanabe of Japan 3-2 in a tough match and reached the final of women's singles. Whereas Anahat made a brilliant comeback after falling 0-2 in the match. Along with this, Abhay Singh also reached the finals in men's squash, due to which India's hopes of winning a gold medal in this game have increased considerably.

The final match of the Indian men's Kabaddi team was also scheduled against Iran on 26th September i.e. Saturday. There were high expectations from the Indian team to repeat the success of the women's team and achieve gold.
