New chapter in Myanmar-India friendship! President U Min Aung Hlaing on 5-day state visit from today

Myanmar President India Visit Bilateral Talks: Myanmar President U Min Aung Hlaing begins a five-day official visit to India from Saturday. This important visit is taking place on the special invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is his first historic visit to India after assuming the office of President. This visit is considered very important to further deepen and strengthen the relations between the two countries.

President U Min Aung Hlaing will start his special visit from the holy city of Bodhgaya in Bihar. After this, on June 1, he will hold detailed talks with Prime Minister Modi on bilateral relations. India and Myanmar have always been close land and maritime neighbors and have a long-standing partnership. This visit will greatly benefit both the countries and will open new avenues of development.

During this important visit, a very high level delegation is also coming to India along with the President. This team will include many cabinet ministers, senior officials and big business leaders of Myanmar. This team will try to find new opportunities for trade and cooperation between the two countries.

After Bodh Gaya and Delhi, the President will also visit the country’s financial capital Mumbai on June 2. There he will take a major part in many important conversations related to business and industry. During this time he is also scheduled to participate in a business forum and visit various sites.

In April this year, India’s Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh went on an important visit to Myanmar. He met Min Aung Hlaing on April 10 and handed him PM Modi’s congratulatory letter. This meeting was specially organized during the swearing-in ceremony of the President.

Bodhgaya is a very sacred religious place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. This month, Vietnamese President To Lam also started his visit to India from this place. To Lam went to the Mahabodhi Temple there and prayed and wished for peace between the two countries.
