New Delhi. The Indian cricket team is currently playing a five-match T20 series against West Indies. Four matches of the series have been completed and currently both the teams are on par. Now the fifth and last match to be held on October 17 will decide the winner of the series.
After the end of the series against West Indies, the Indian team will leave for New Zealand tour. A five-match T20 series will be played here between the two countries. After this, ODI and Test series are also proposed. At present, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the team for the T20 series against New Zealand.
T20 series will start from October 22
The first match of the five-match T20 series between India and New Zealand will be played on October 22. After this, the second T20 match will be held on 24 October. The third match will be played on 27 October, the fourth match on 30 October and the fifth and last T20 match of the series will be played on 1 November.
The ODI series between India and New Zealand will start immediately after the end of the T20 series. Its first match is to be played on 4th November.
Shreyas Iyer got captaincy
The command of the Indian team announced for the T20 series against New Zealand has been handed over to Shreyas Iyer. The team includes key players like Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma.
Young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has also got a place in the team. At the same time, experienced fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has also returned to the team. The bowling department includes players like Arshdeep Singh, Mayank Yadav, Varun Chakraborty and Kuldeep Yadav.
