The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Test and ODI teams of Team India for the New Zealand tour. The selectors have chosen two different squads for the five-match ODI series. Shubman Gill will captain the team in the first three ODIs, while Shreyas Iyer will take over the responsibility of captain in the last two matches. Gill will lead the team in the Test series also and KL Rahul will be the vice-captain.

In the first three matches, experienced players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are part of the team. Shreyas Iyer has been made the vice-captain. KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan have been selected for the role of wicketkeeper.

Shreyas Iyer will captain in the fourth and fifth ODIs of the series. Ishan Kishan has been given the responsibility of vice-captain and wicketkeeper. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are also included in this team.

When will the New Zealand tour start?
After five T20 International matches, five ODIs and two Test matches will be played between India and New Zealand. The ODI series will start from November 4, while the first Test is scheduled to be played from November 19. This tour will be an opportunity for the Indian team to test its preparations in both limited overs and Test cricket formats.
