Periodic visit to the stadium
Top officials of Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate and State Police have visited the Yuva Bharati Stadium for the past few days before the match. Bidhannagar Police Commissioner Amit Rathore gave several guidelines regarding security in a press conference at the Salt Lake Stadium on Thursday. Spectators have been cautioned about everything from entering the stadium to sitting in the gallery.
When will you arrive at the stadium before the match?
For security reasons, the police advised the spectators to reach the stadium at least two hours before the start of the match. That is, it is advised to enter Yuva Bharati within 5 pm. These guidelines are to avoid last-minute overcrowding and control the situation at the entrance. Visitors are also requested to follow the instructions of security personnel and volunteers.
Things that cannot be taken at all
Several things are completely prohibited while entering Yuva Bharati. Firecrackers, smoke candles, lighters, cigarettes or any other inflammable materials are not allowed. At the same time laser lights, sharp weapons, alcohol and any drug like material are also prohibited to be taken into the stadium.
Food, water bottles and posters are also banned
Police have issued several other important restrictions for visitors. Water bottles, food of any kind, banners or posters will not be allowed to enter the gallery. However, it has been informed that food and drinking water will be provided in every gallery so that the visitors do not have to face any problem. So there is no need to carry food or water from outside.
Three levels of checking, three rounds of ticket checking
Visitors must go through three levels of security checks upon entering the stadium. Besides, digital tickets will also be checked in three stages. As a result, along with carrying the ticket, it has been requested to adhere to the specific entry and security guidelines. Specific arrangements have also been made for parking. The police is giving special importance to the cooperation of the spectators to organize high-profile matches like India-Brazil smoothly.
