The wedding will take place from Dec. 9 to 13 at resort facilities on Hon Tre Island in Nha Trang Bay with around 1,400 guests from India and around the world, said Phan Quang Dai, general director of Blue Lemon Vietnam Company, one of the organizers.
More than 600 staff members are expected to be involved in organizing and servicing the event, which is being described as the largest Indian wedding ever held in Vietnam.
The celebration is being jointly organized by Blue Lemon Vietnam, a Turkey-based company, and an Indian wedding planning and management agency, Dai said.

Guests arriving from India and other countries will take part in a packed schedule of events inspired by Indian traditions and culture. The program will include traditional wedding ceremonies, receptions, entertainment shows, music performances, culinary experiences and resort activities.
A special welcome ceremony for the bride’s and groom’s families will also be held at Cam Ranh International Airport upon their arrival.
Thai Thi Le Hang, director of the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the province’s tourism sector would work with relevant agencies and organizers to review requirements and prepare for the event, with the aim of ensuring that the celebration runs smoothly.
Vietnam has increasingly become a destination for India’s wealthy families seeking large-scale weddings. In December 2025, an Indian billionaire family reportedly booked an entire resort in Phu Quoc for seven days for a wedding, with more than 1,130 guests attending.
Ha Long also hosted three weddings involving Indian billionaire families in early February 2026.
India is now among Vietnam’s top 10 international tourism markets.
Nearly 340,000 Indian visitors arrived in Vietnam during the first six months of this year, while Khanh Hoa has identified India as an important market in its long-term tourism development strategy.
