Captain Shreyas Iyer became translator for Vaibhav Suryavanshi, repeated words in English during the match presentation.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi: Indian team’s young explosive batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has achieved the feat of winning ‘Player of the Match’ and ‘Player of the Series’ awards in T20 International cricket at the age of just 15. In the third and last T20 match played against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club, Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a brilliant inning of 81 runs, on the basis of which Team India made a clean sweep on Zimbabwe’s soil after 16 years. Vaibhav was the highest run scorer in this entire series, for which he was awarded the ‘Player of the Series’ award. During this time, an interesting sight was also seen in the match presentation, when Indian captain Shreyas Iyer became a translator for Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

When Vaibhav Suryavanshi was called during the match presentation to know about his excellent performance, captain Shreyas Iyer also came with him. Vaibhav spoke in Hindi, which was translated into English by Shreyas Iyer.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi said on his performance, “It felt really good. Our preparation during the 2-3 days after reaching Harare was very good. I have also played the Under-19 World Cup here, so I really enjoy playing on this ground. The captain, coach and everyone supported me completely, so I am very happy. My game is exactly the same as I play in T20 cricket.”

Vaibhav Suryavanshi further said, “I was just trying to do the same for the team. In all three matches, I tried to give a good start to the team. If I got a good start, I wanted to make that innings bigger. That was my only thought. What I do during practice, I try to repeat the same in the match. It is a dream come true, to be the first man of the match and man of the series.”

Vaibhav Suryavanshi batted amazingly in this T20 series against Zimbabwe. In all three matches of this series, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored a total of 151 runs at an average of 50.33 and strike rate of 196.10, which included 15 fours and 9 sixes. This young batsman played aggressive innings of 50 runs in the first match, 20 runs in the second and 81 runs in the third match. Vaibhav has become the youngest batsman to win the Player of the Match award in international cricket.

What did captain Shreyas Iyer say after the series win?

Indian captain Shreyas Iyer said after the series win, “As we saw how fearless he (Vaibhav) is, he has shown great determination and great performance. This is my first win as captain, so it is very special. Many of these players have played a lot of matches in the IPL. I just make sure that they feel comfortable. It is very important for your players to step up and take responsibility. The road ahead will be challenging, but if they continue to show the same courage, the results will be good.” Will come.
