Soekarno-Hatta was the second busiest airport in Southeast Asia in August and September.
Soekarno-Hatta serves the Jakarta metropolitan area and is frequently impacted by extreme weather, especially during the rainy season.
Covering approximately 1,800 hectares, it was the fourth largest airport in Southeast Asia by land area after Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia, Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand, and Clark International Airport in the Philippines.
Overall capacity in the Southeast Asian market increased 1.2% from October last year to 50.9 million seats.
