Batting first after losing the toss, the Indian team scored 209 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs due to the strong performance of its batsmen. In reply, the Netherlands team could not stand against the Indian bowlers and were restricted to 114 runs in 17.3 overs. Shri Charani bowled brilliantly for India and took 4 wickets.
