Infiltration attempt failed in Tarn Taran, BSF personnel killed two infiltrators

Taran Lain, 02 October 2026: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel deployed on the Indian border shot dead two Pakistani graft thieves late in the night. Senior officials have not yet given any details regarding what items have been recovered from these infiltrators who were trying to enter India illegally from across the border. According to the information received, this incident happened last night at around 12:30.

According to reports, this incident took place at Rajoke in Tarn Taran area. Last night, soldiers patrolling the border had seen movement across the barbed wire fence on the Indian side. Taking advantage of the darkness, approximately three suspicious Pakistani nationals were seen moving slowly towards the Indian border.

For security reasons, the deployed personnel monitored the movement of suspicious persons using thermal imaging and binoculars. However, by then they had already entered the Indian border.

The deployed personnel confirmed the location of the suspicious persons and warned them to retreat. However, instead of returning, the infiltrators tried to go into hiding. After repeated warnings, BSF personnel were forced to open fire in the interest of security.

Report of two suspected persons being killed

Security personnel shot dead two infiltrators during an operation. It is suspected that these infiltrators were smugglers, who had entered the Indian border to deliver a consignment of goods. Details regarding what was seized from them have not yet been confirmed.

Immediately after the incident, the entire area was sealed and a search operation has been started in the surrounding areas. BSF officials will give details in this regard soon.
