Initiative to promote scientific thinking in Jehanabad, District level meeting organized regarding National Children’s Science Congress

National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) An important district level meeting was organized regarding this. This meeting was held in the local council auditorium, which was presided over by Lalit Shankar Pathak Did it.

Science teachers of the district, education experts, social workers and representatives of various schools participated in the meeting. The main objective of the program was to effectively conduct the activities of the National Children’s Science Congress in the district and to connect more and more students with this National Science Campaign.

During the meeting, special emphasis was laid on connecting thousands of students with scientific activities by reaching out to almost all the schools of the district. For this, a strategy was made to prepare science-based projects at the school level, motivate students for research work and develop projects based on solving local problems.

It was discussed in the meeting that instead of limiting the students to books only, they should be motivated to understand the problems around them from a scientific point of view and find their solutions. Under this, it was decided to promote research projects based on subjects like water conservation, cleanliness, environment, agriculture, health and energy.

Experts believe that by developing scientific temper in children from an early stage, they will be able to become better researchers, innovators and responsible citizens in the future.

It was decided in the meeting that special science awareness campaigns would be conducted in the schools of the district. Under this, training workshops will be organized for science teachers, so that they can give better guidance to the students.

It was also agreed to create a strong network of guide teachers and mentors, who will provide support to the students in the creation, presentation and research work of science projects.

The plan to effectively take the selected science projects to the state level was also discussed in the meeting. For this, it was considered to provide academic support, expert guidance and presentation training to the students.

District Organizing Committee and District Academic Committee have been entrusted with the responsibility of actively conducting all these activities.

The members present in the meeting said that in today’s times the need for scientific thinking and innovation has increased more than ever. The need of the hour is to develop logical thinking, research ability and problem solving skills in children.

Programs like National Children’s Science Congress help students develop interest in science as well as make them feel responsible towards society and environment.

Confidence was expressed in the meeting that through collective efforts, Jehanabad district will create a strong identity in the field of National Children’s Science Congress. This will give the children of the district an opportunity to showcase their talent at the national level.

The members present in the program said that this initiative will give a new direction to science-based education and innovation culture in the district in the coming times.
