There was a huge uproar during the students' demonstration at Deendayal Upadhyay University in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. The students, who were agitating since August 25, closed both the gates of the administrative building. Many students are also sitting on hunger strike for the last four days. Teachers, staff and other students faced a lot of trouble due to the gate being closed.
University Proctor Dr. Ved Prakash Rai, who arrived to handle the situation, was surrounded by the protesting students. During this, an altercation broke out between the students and the proctor. After this the sub inspector present there threatened the students. Its video went viral on social media.

Students are on hunger strike for four days
