Mandar Bhide says, “Laughter is an integral part of everyone’s life. For me, laughter is very important. It is easy to make people cry, but it is very difficult to make them laugh heartily.” According to him, the real success of his work is that the audience forgets their sorrows, stress and laughs even for a while. “It is my good fortune that by God’s grace I got the opportunity to make people laugh,” he adds.
He decided to leave a well-paying job in the corporate sector to pursue comedy full-time, which seemed daring at first. But the houseful crowd that his shows get today is a testament to his hard work. According to him, standing on stage and keeping people engaged, making them laugh and at the same time maintaining his own unique style is very challenging.
