‘Introduce us all to PM Modi…’, why did Tejashwi start making such demands from CM Samrat?
After the formation of the new government in Bihar under the leadership of Samrat Chaudhary, the trust motion was discussed on Friday. During the discussion, there was a verbal altercation between Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav. Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Choudhary said that the opposition is worried because the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government is being formed but the opposition government is not being formed. During this discussion, Tejashwi Yadav demanded from Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary that he should introduce the leaders of all parties to Prime Minister Narendra Modi so that efforts can be made to get special state status for Bihar.
While participating in the discussion on the trust vote, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary targeted Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav and said that the biggest problem for the opposition is that the NDA government is being formed continuously while their government is not being formed. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav made the economic condition of the state the main issue during the discussion. Citing the NITI Aayog report, he said that Bihar is still counted among the poorest states of the country. Tejashwi asked that when the government treasury remains empty, then how will the pace of development work increase? He demanded the government to take concrete steps on the economic front.

Demand to meet PM
During the discussion, Tejashwi Yadav said that during the reign of Lalu Prasad, financial management was better and the state remained in a state of surplus. At the end of his address, Tejashwi Yadav congratulated the new government and said that the numerical strength of the opposition may be less but dialogue is necessary. He urged the government to take the opposition along. Tejashwi Yadav demanded inclusion of other backward classes in women’s reservation. Also, he urged the Chief Minister to introduce leaders of all parties to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, so that efforts can be expedited towards getting special state status for Bihar.
Samrat Chaudhary vs Tejashwi Yadav
Taking a dig at the ruling coalition, Tejashwi Yadav said, ‘Any government needs stability to function. Bihar is a strange state where the fifth government has been formed in 5 years. Even after ruling the NDA for 21 years, such a situation arose that it had to form five governments in 5 years. We would like to thank Bhai Samrat Chaudhary that you removed the elected CM as per your resolution. What could be better for us than that you become CM after coming out of Lalu ji’s school. The elected CM was removed by the selected CM. Even if you have taken off your turban earlier and got it shaved, we would say that wherever you have kept the turban, keep it safely, Vijay Sinha ji is keeping an eye on it.
Taking on RJD, Samrat Chaudhary said, ‘I have said many times that if Nitish ji had not been there, would Lalu ji have been the CM? Lalu ji was also made CM by Nitish Kumar, you should know this. No one is from anyone’s school. I say that if Lalu Yadav’s atrocities had not happened in my politics, I would not have been able to become the Chief Minister of Bihar. Neither would he go to jail nor enter politics. I was walking on a different path. Don’t be under any misconception, no one is anyone else’s school. This is democracy. This same BJP made me the leader of opposition, made me state president, made me deputy CM twice and made me CM.
