The match is important for CSK

CSK, which started the season with 3 consecutive losses, has made a strong presence in the playoff race with 3 wins in the last 4 matches. CSK is at sixth place in the points table with 5 wins and 5 losses in 10 matches.

CSK will have to win at least 3 of their remaining 4 matches to reach the playoffs. On the other hand, for LSG it is a do or die match. If the team captained by Rishabh Pant loses, then its remaining hopes will also be lost.
