The interesting thing was that during this time Shivam Dubey’s wicket fell, due to which the fans started associating it with ‘black magic’. As soon as Shivam Dubey’s wicket falls, this fan jumps with joy.
How did CSK’s innings falter?
CSK made a great start while chasing the target of 195 runs set by Sunrisers Hyderabad. The pair of Ayush Mhatre and Ruturaj Gaikwad had put the team in a strong position by adding 66 runs in just 4.4 overs. It seemed that the match was completely under the control of CSK but during this time the match suddenly took a turn. Despite being injured, Ayush Mhatre continued to bat, which proved costly for the team. He was out on the very next ball, which broke the team’s rhythm.
After Mhatre was out, Ruturaj Gaikwad also returned to the pavilion in the very next over. After this CSK came under pressure. Matthew Short and Sarfaraz Khan tried to control the innings by making a partnership of 46 runs, but Ishan Malinga dismissed both of them in quick succession and turned the match towards SRH. After this the CSK team could not recover and lost the match by 10 runs.
