With this, Sunrisers Hyderabad team has qualified for the playoffs. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings is almost out of the race for the playoffs. Sunrisers Hyderabad achieved the target of 181 runs given by Chennai Super Kings by losing 5 wickets with 6 balls remaining. Ishan Kishan played the match winning inning of 70 runs for Hyderabad. While Heinrich Klaasen scored 47 runs. With Hyderabad’s victory, Gujarat Titans have also qualified for the playoffs with 16 points.

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma were out early

Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head started Sunrisers Hyderabad’s chase of 181 runs given by Chennai Super Kings. Mukesh Chaudhary gave the first blow to Hyderabad on the score of 18 runs. Ishan Kishan played a stormy inning of 70 runs

Ishan Kishan remained steadfast till the end and brought Sunrisers Hyderabad to the threshold of victory. He played a brilliant inning of 70 runs in 46 balls. In the end, Salil Arora remained unbeaten on 10 more runs. Smaran Ravichandran led Hyderabad to victory by scoring 5 runs.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and batted first and scored 180 runs for 7 wickets. For CSK, Dewald Brevis played the highest innings of 44 runs in 27 balls. Whereas Karthik Sharma scored 32 runs on 19 balls. Sanju Samson played an innings of 27 runs in 13 balls. Shivam Dubey scored 26 runs on 23 balls. Whereas for Hyderabad, captain Pat Cummins bowled brilliantly and took 3 big wickets. Saqib Hussain took 2 wickets. While Prafulla Hinge and Ishaan Malinga got 1 success each.
