IPL 2026: Gujarat Titans registered their fourth win by defeating Chennai Super Kings by eight wickets.

After the excellent performance of the bowlers led by Kagiso Rabada (three wickets), thanks to the brilliant performance of Sai Sudarshan (87), Gujarat Titans defeated Chennai Super Kings by eight wickets with 20 balls remaining in the 37th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Sunday. This is the fourth win of Gujarat Titans in the tournament. Chasing the target of 159 runs, Gujarat Titans displayed brilliant batting and won the match by eight wickets by scoring 162 runs for two wickets in 16.4 overs.
The pair of Sai Sudarshan and Shubhman Gill played cautiously and added 58 runs for the first wicket. Noor Ahmed broke this partnership by dismissing Shubhman Gill in the seventh over. Gill played an innings of 33 runs in 23 balls, hitting one four and three sixes. In the 17th over, Akil Hussain dismissed Sai Sudarshan and sent him to the pavilion. Sai Sadurshan played an innings of 87 runs in 46 balls hitting four fours and seven sixes. Jos Buttler scored 39 not out.

Earlier today, on the strength of the captaincy innings of Ruturaj Gaikwad (74 not out), Chennai Super Kings scored 158 runs for seven wickets against Gujarat Titans on Sunday. Sanju Samson (11), Urvil Patel (four), Sarfaraz Khan (zero) and Devals Brevis (two) were out after scoring runs. Rituraj Gaikwad played an unbeaten inning of 74 runs in 60 balls hitting six fours and four sixes. Kagiso Rabada took three wickets for Gujarat Titans. Arshad Khan got two wickets. Mohammad Siraj and Manav Suthar dismissed one batsman each.
