The opening pair of Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan has now become the pair with the highest century partnership for the first wicket in the history of this tournament. In this case, Shubhman Gill and Sai Sudarshan have left behind the opening pair of Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner apart from Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head. This was the 7th century partnership between the two for the first wicket in IPL history.
