He sarcastically said that, from President Aoun’s words it seems as if Iran has occupied one-fifth of Lebanon, displaced one-fourth of the population and is bombing every day. What did Joseph Aoun say?

In an interview with CNN, Aoun said that Iran should not interfere in Lebanon’s internal affairs and accused it of using Lebanon as a pawn in its talks with the US.

He told Iran, this is not your country, this is our country. You are using us for bargaining, which is wrong. He also appealed to Hezbollah. He said, the end of this conflict is not violence or war, but only dialogue and diplomacy. They will have to follow this path.
