Iran has increased the difficulties of Arab countries supporting America and Israel, leveling several allegations in the UN.
Tehran. The rising tension in West Asia shows no signs of abating. On one hand, the US is trying to subdue Iran with all its might. Meanwhile, Iran, with its strong strategy, is trying to trouble the US from all sides. In this sequence, Iran has increased the difficulties of the countries supporting America. Iran has accused all those countries in the United Nations who were allowing America and Israel to use their territories. Iran has approached the United Nations to demand compensation from these countries.
Iran’s UN ambassador, Amir-Saeed Iravani, wrote to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, saying that Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and Jordan assisted the US-Israeli operations. Iran claims these countries allowed their territory to be used for attacks, a violation of international law.
Iran stated in its letter that it was the victim of the incident and had only exercised its right to self-defense. It asserted that it has the full right to defend itself under the UN Charter and that the attacks against it were unlawful.
Iran alleged that in some cases these countries directly participated in the attacks or allowed their territory to be used. It said this constituted a serious violation of international law and implied responsibility for these countries.
Iran has also denounced the US-imposed maritime sanctions as illegal, saying they violate its sovereignty and violate international maritime law. Iran warned that such measures threaten regional and global peace.
Iran has appealed to the UN Security Council to intervene and condemn the US actions, saying the situation could worsen if immediate action is not taken.
