In a recent interview with the press, US President Donald Trump claimed, “Iran has agreed to their proposal. Iran will hand over its enriched uranium to America. We are very close to a six-week ceasefire between the two sides.” However, Iran opened its mouth today in response to Trump’s demand. In an interview given to the press, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Ismail Baghei, said that there is no basis for the claim of America.
In Baghei’s words, “The right to peaceful nuclear enrichment is not a favor of an external power, to be withdrawn in times of conflict. As long as Iran remains a member of the NPT, it should enjoy the full benefits of all the provisions of this agreement.” Also, referring to uranium talks at a peace meeting in Pakistan, he said, “Any possible deal needs to have its infrastructure in place. There is no point in discussing sensitive issues like war and peace in detail until the basic terms are established.”
