Iran’s representatives left Pakistan after meeting Shahbaz! The peace meeting collapsed again?
Amid speculations about the second round of peace talks, the Iranian delegation reached Islamabad on Friday. Which was led by the foreign minister of that country, Abbas Aragachi. But according to several media sources, they left Islamabad after meeting Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday. According to sources, the Iranian delegation did not say anything about the peace talks. After that, the question started to arise, then the second phase of the peace meeting collapsed again?
Some glimpses of the meeting have been released by the Pakistan Prime Minister’s Office on Saturday. Apart from Shahbaz, Pakistan Foreign Minister Isaaq Dar and Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir were also present in the meeting. After the meeting, Shahbaz said, “We had a very positive discussion on the current situation. Mutual interests were also kept in mind in the meeting.” However, the Prime Minister of Pakistan did not say anything clearly about the second peace meeting.
Meanwhile, it was heard from Saturday morning that the US delegation is going to set foot in Islamabad soon. Steve Wittkoff and Jared Kushner are scheduled to come here from America. Note that Kushner is the son-in-law of US President Donald Trump. It was also heard that US Vice President JD Vance will not attend this meeting. Trump wants to rely on his son-in-law after the first round of meetings failed. But the Iranian delegation left Pakistan before the US delegation arrived. The second peace meeting remained uncertain.
