Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei’s open support to Hezbollah, said – there is no way other than jihad and resistance

New Delhi. Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei on Monday gave a big statement in support of Hezbollah fighters. He said that Iran considers the protection of Hezbollah fighters as its strategic responsibility. He also demanded a complete and unconditional end to Israel’s military action against Lebanon.

Khamenei made this statement on the social media platform X in response to a letter of support sent by Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qasim and the organization’s fighters. He praised Hezbollah for its patience, dignity and sacrifice, calling the organization an unshakable rock in the front of resistance against Israel.

Mojtaba Khamenei said that Iran considers the defense of Hezbollah and the territorial integrity of Lebanon as its strategic responsibility. He said any agreement to end the imposed war with the US must include a complete end to Israel’s aggressive actions against Lebanon.

He said, ‘There is no way to move forward except jihad and resistance.’ Mojtaba claimed that continued resistance would ultimately bring divine victory to those fighting for the truth.

The Iranian leader also praised the patience and support of the people of southern Lebanon. He paid tribute to slain Hezbollah leader Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and other commanders of the resistance movement. Khamenei said that Hezbollah fighters transformed the organization from a small sapling into a powerful tree and increased Lebanon’s respect throughout the Islamic world.

Attacks stopped in America and Iran for two days

It is noteworthy that this statement of Mojtaba Khamenei has come at a time when tension is increasing in the Middle East. However, the attacks between America and Iran have stopped for the last two days. US Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz told Fox News that President Donald Trump is giving some time and opportunity to negotiations. Iran’s military spokesperson told state television that America had stopped attacks for the last two nights and Iran had also done the same.

Peace talks still going on between the two countries

Apart from this, Iran said on Monday that indirect exchange of messages with America continues through intermediaries. This indicates that despite weeks of military confrontation, diplomatic channels remain open. These things came to light when after President Donald Trump stopped American air strikes, both the countries did not launch new attacks for the third consecutive day, which has given some hope that the conflict will not escalate further.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghai said that messages are being actively sent between Tehran and Washington through mediators and mediation efforts are also ongoing. His comments came as senior officials from both sides indicated that the recent pause in strikes was intended to create space for diplomacy, although Tehran made it clear it still remained deeply suspicious of Washington’s intentions.

Netanyahu will meet Trump on Tuesday

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet President Donald Trump in Washington on Tuesday. Netanyahu told Fox News that he fully supports Trump’s efforts to weaken Iran and dismantle its nuclear program.

He said that if Trump succeeds in stopping Iran’s nuclear program without another major military conflict, then there is no harm in it. Netanyahu indicated that instead of giving Trump any new information, he would like to hear what plans the US President has in mind.

However, he warned Iran that if it again attacked Israel directly or through its allied armed groups, it would be a big mistake.
