Irumudi Box Office Collection Day 3: The Ravi Teja starrer Irumudi started off the week on a positive note as the film has earned its best single day collections at the box office on Sunday, along with accomplishing two box office landmarks.
So far, the movie has managed to earn Rs 50.30 crore net business in India in just three days of release, whereas the worldwide gross collection stands at Rs 71.87 crore. In addition, the growth on Sunday provided an excellent boost for the Ravi Teja-starrer.

As per the latest estimates, Irumudi has collected a net of Rs 50.30 crore India in 8,694 shows over the first three days. Its current India gross is at Rs 58.37 crore while it has collected another Rs 13.50 crore from overseas territories, which takes its total worldwide gross to Rs 71.87 crore over the opening weekend.
This is a significant boost to the performance of the third day over the second day. After two days of collections amounting to Rs 31.40 crore India net, the third day added a net figure of Rs 18.90 crore for the movie.
Ravi Teja Film Records Strong Sunday Growth
The Irumudi numbers were already showing signs of improvement on Saturday when there was a marginal increase in the India net collection compared to Day 1. The numbers improved even further on Sunday.
According to trade reports, the increase on Day 3 stood somewhere around 16% with Telugu markets, especially those in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, playing an important role in the success of this film. The trend over the weekend for this film is therefore quite positive since the film did not depend completely on its opening day figures.
Irumudi Crosses Rs 70 Crore Worldwide
This world figure marks yet another landmark for Ravi Teja. With Rs 58.37 crore domestic collections and Rs 13.50 crore international earnings, Irumudi has achieved Rs 71.87 crore in its first three days of its release in the global market. Its international business has also stayed consistent on the Sunday as well, as reports state that it made Rs 3.50 crore in its third day internationally. The movie had been struggling to cross the Rs 50 crore world figure mark in the last two days.
Can Irumudi Hold Strong On Monday?
The first few days have provided Irumudi with a good platform, but it is only on Monday that we will be able to see whether or not the movie will go on to be a box office hit in the coming days.
This is especially critical for Ravi Teja, who has not done consistently well at the box office recently. It may be pointed out here that Irumudi is one of his better films recently, and even other Telugu hero, Nagarjuna, calls it a “blockbuster.”
