Kumar Vishwas said that during the preparation of the film, Ranbir often talked to him on phone and asked many questions related to the personality of Lord Ram. According to him, the actor’s curiosity was not limited to just dialogue or acting, but he also wanted to understand the basic nature of the character. While sharing a special moment, she told that one day Ranbir Kapoor asked her in a very casual manner, "Sir, I want to ask one thing… is Ram God or a human being?" After this question, there was a detailed discussion between the two for about an hour on the life of Lord Ram, his ideals and his nature.

Kumar Vishwas told that after the conversation was over, he asked Ranbir what he understood now. To this Ranbir replied smilingly, "Now I have understood… Ram is everything." According to Kumar Vishwas, this answer shows that Ranbir has tried not just to play his character but to assimilate it.

During the event, a mild altercation was also seen on the stage between Kumar Vishwas and yoga guru Baba Ramdev.
