For now, the contents of the new footage are being kept secret, and fans will have to wait for an official announcement on when the re-release will hit theaters.
Since arriving in theaters on July 31, Brand New Day has dominated the summer box office.
With $2.49 billion in domestic box office earnings, the superhero blockbuster has become the third highest grossing movie.
It sits behind 2009’s Avatar ($2.92 billion) and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame ($2.88 billion), while surpassing 2022’s Avatar: The Way of Water ($2.3 billion) and 1994’s Titanic ($2.2 billion).
