Is the stock market rising or falling? Understand from initial data

The tension between America and Iran in West Asia and rising prices of crude oil are clearly visible in the Indian stock market. Today i.e. till 9:15 am on September 10, there was a slight rise in the stock market. In the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Nifty started Thursday's trading at 23444, up 15 points. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)'s 30-share benchmark index Sensex opened with a loss of 27 points at 74742. That is, today on September 10, Nifty 50 opened with a gain of about 15 points at 23,444 and Sensex fell by 27 points at 74,742.

According to the data, maximum 1.70 crore contracts were traded in Put Option. After this, 1.69 crore contracts were traded in Call Option. Whereas in Index Future only 372 contracts were traded. That is, today maximum buying and selling took place in Put and Call Options, whereas the trading in Future was very less.

At 9.55 am, 15 out of 30 BSE companies were in profit and 15 were in loss. TCS, which was in loss on Wednesday, is seeing improvement today and at 9.56 am its shares had gained 1.01%. A jump was seen in the share prices of other tech companies also. At the same time, Adani Ports, which got a significant rise on Wednesday, is trending down today and its share price is Rs 1768. Similarly, initial decline was also seen in the share prices of Eternal, Asian Paints, BEL, Tata Steel and Reliance.

According to the data of 10 September 2026 at 10:05 am, today the price of 24 carat gold in India has reached Rs 1,54,390 for 10 grams. Whereas 22 carat gold is ₹ 1,41,524, 20 carat ₹ 1,28,658 and 18 carat ₹ 1,15,793 per 10 grams.

Talking about silver, today on September 10, at around 9 am, it fell by Rs 1150 and the price reached ₹ 2,43,108 per kg. According to data, today the average price of silver in India is around ₹ 2,43,000 to ₹ 2,49,900 per kg.
