ISL: Farooq Chaudhary's return to Mumbai City FC, the team's strength increased

Mumbai City FC are delighted to confirm the return of Farooq Chaudhary to the club. The attacker has signed a contract with the club until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Born in Ambernath, Maharashtra, Farooq is not new to 'Islanders'. He has previously played 6 matches for the club in the 2020–21 Indian Super League (ISL) season.

He has since represented Jamshedpur FC and Chennaiyin FC. He has played 126 matches in the Indian Super League in his career, scoring 7 goals and 10 assists.

Also representing the national team

Farooq has also represented the Indian national team, scoring 3 goals in 24 appearances for the Blue Tigers. Regarding his comeback, Farooq said that returning to Mumbai City is very important for me. I have great memories with this club and I am happy to be back. I am looking forward to the new season, working hard with the team and contributing my best on the field. Our team is strong and our goals are big. I want to help the team as much as possible to achieve the goal.
