According to reports from the American newspaper Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Israel sent an alert to the US administration this week that Iran was planning a new conspiracy to assassinate President Donald Trump. However, US officials have not yet confirmed the claims made in this report, nor were they tracking this alleged conspiracy.
The newspaper has claimed in its report that some officials of American intelligence agencies believe that this Israeli input could also be a part of Trump’s attempt to influence the decisions regarding Iran. That means they do not completely trust the input. The White House has not commented directly on the report.
