Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon: The Israeli army carried out an air strike in the southern area of Lebanon on Saturday. An airstrike hit a residential building in southern Lebanon. In this attack, 7 people including 3 children of the same family have died. According to reports, all the deceased are said to be members of the same family. This is considered to be the biggest attack between the two sides since the ceasefire in June, because the number of injured in this is much more than other attacks that took place after June. The Israeli military has confirmed overnight airstrikes in southern Lebanon and said they were carried out in response to an attack by Hezbollah troops. The IDF says it attacked Hezbollah infrastructure in Ansar, north of the Nabatieh area.
The Israeli Air Force targeted not only Ansar, but also the Ali al-Taher ridge, a key hill overlooking the Nabatieh region. In addition, the attack was also carried out in the valley between Ansar and Zarariyah, which is considered to be Israel's deepest geographical reach since the ceasefire two months ago.
