Not even a single child of the state should be deprived of education, this is the top priority of the government: CM Yogi
Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday participated in the ‘Instructor Honor Ceremony’ and check distribution program organized by the Basic Education Department to commemorate the increase in honorarium of 24,717 part-time instructors under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan in the academic session 2026-27. On this occasion, the overall report card for the students from Kindergarten to class 1 to 8 was also released. The Chief Minister said that it is the top priority of the government that not even a single child of the state remains deprived of education. We are committed to empowering the new generation through quality and inclusive education.

The Chief Minister said, instructors are being given an honorarium of ₹ 17,000. Additionally, they will also be provided a health insurance cover of ₹5,00,000. Cashless health facility will be provided to the instructors and their families. Also said, if even one child is deprived of education, then the entire society and country has to suffer its far-reaching consequences. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all of us to ensure that every child goes to school.
It is our responsibility to ensure that every child goes to school and the double engine government is discharging this responsibility with full commitment.

He further said, Operation Kayakalp has been presented by NITI Aayog as a success story before the country. Through this, today all those basic facilities are being available in the schools of Basic Education Council, which were necessary for the students, important from the teachers’ point of view and necessary to make the schools competitive. Additionally, these features have proven to be extremely effective in controlling dropout rates.
Also said, under the Basic Education Council, a requisition has been sent for the recruitment of 10,000 new teachers in urban area schools. The recruitment process for this will also start very soon. Besides, action is also being taken to link it with the appointment process of instructors in upper primary schools.
