'It is too early to make him vice-captain', Sachin Tendulkar said on Vaibhav getting the responsibility

Sachin Tendulkar has expressed his opinion on making Vaibhav Suryavanshi the vice-captain. Sachin has said that it would be too early to give the responsibility of leading the team to Vaibhav at such a young age. Master Blaster believes that Vaibhav Suryavanshi should play more red ball cricket. Recently, youth sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi got a new responsibility. Vaibhav was made the vice-captain of the East Zone team in the Duleep Trophy. Vaibhav got the chance to captain the team when regular captain Ishan Kishan got injured in the semi-final match. Vaibhav is 15 years and 7 months old today i.e. on 6th November. The decision to give leadership responsibility to Vaibhav at such a young age is being discussed a lot.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has experience of only 8 red ball matches. East Zone has experienced players like Abhimanyu Easwaran. Abhimanyu has experience of more than 100 first class matches. Despite this, Vaibhav has been made the vice-captain, due to which some cricket pundits are also opposing this decision. However, the selection committee of East Zone has argued that this decision was taken with the aim of making Vaibhav more mature and experienced.

During this period, he played a role in many important decisions on the field. He was also involved in decisions like taking DRS. Videos related to this have also been discussed on social media.
