Jailer 2 Box Office Collection Day 2: Mohanlal and Vidya Balan starrer Rajinikanth’s action film ‘Jailor 2’ has crossed the worldwide gross collection of Rs 200 crore within two days of its theatrical release. The film earned Rs 35.60 cr from 13,157 shows in India on Friday, 16 October. Its domestic net collection has reached Rs 95.30 cr, while India’s gross is Rs 112.10 cr. Overseas earnings have also contributed significantly, taking the worldwide gross to Rs 209.10 crore.
‘Jailor 2’ Day 2 Box Office Collection
The film collected a nett of Rs 35.60 cr in India on its second day. On Friday, the overseas market contributed Rs 40 crore, taking the total overseas gross to Rs 97 crore. According to SACNILC, the domestic net collection for the second day was 40.4% less than the first day’s earning of Rs 59.70 crore on Thursday. On the first day, the film had 16,599 shows and a total occupancy of 55.4%. Occupancy reported on Friday was 48.2%, with 13,157 showings across the country.
Language wise collection on Friday
The Tamil version topped the domestic box office with Rs 25.25 crore from 7,243 shows. Its occupancy rate was 61%. The Telugu version earned Rs 7.25 crore from 1,940 shows, with 54.3% occupancy. The Hindi version earned Rs 2.75 crore in 3,850 shows, with 21% occupancy. Whereas, the Kannada version earned Rs 35 lakh in 124 shows, with 46% occupancy. The four language versions together collected a net collection of Rs 35.60 crore in India on the second day.
