The makers of Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated sequel Jailer 2 have officially clarified that the film will release in Hindi theatres on Thursday, 15 October 2026, alongside its other language versions.
In a statement issued on Monday, the producers addressed recent media reports that suggested the Hindi version would not have a theatrical run. “In light of recent media reports suggesting that Jailer 2 will not be releasing in Hindi, we would like to officially clarify that the film’s Hindi version is scheduled for a theatrical release on Thursday, 15th October 2026, alongside its other language versions, as originally planned,” the makers said.
The North Indian distribution rights for the Hindi version have been acquired by Pen Marudhar Entertainment, ensuring a wide release across key territories.
Jailer 2 is the sequel to the 2023 Tamil blockbuster Jailer, which starred Rajinikanth in the lead and emerged as one of the biggest commercial successes of recent years. The clarification comes amid strong fan anticipation for a pan-India rollout of the film, which is expected to open across multiple languages this week.
Industry observers note that the confirmed Hindi theatrical window reinforces the producers’ commitment to a broad national release for the Superstar’s latest outing.
