Bulldozer ran on five religious places including mosque-mazar in Jaipur, internet service restored after 19 hours

Jaipur Bulldozer Action: On Monday, Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) took major action against encroachment and demolished many illegal structures in Jagatpura area of ​​Rajasthan capital Jaipur. This campaign was launched with the aim of widening the road parallel to the railway line from Nandpuri underpass by 80 feet. During the action, more than 125 illegal constructions including 5 religious places were removed. Internet service, which was closed since around 12 o’clock on Sunday night, was restored at 7 o’clock on Monday evening.

The administration had made elaborate security arrangements to maintain law and order. About 3 thousand policemen remained deployed during the entire operation. The movement of people was limited by barricading on many routes. Not only this, power supply was temporarily stopped in Nandpuri and surrounding areas. Drone cameras were used to monitor the situation. The police appealed to the people present on the rooftops to come down through mike and also requested them not to take photos or videos.

Internet service restored at 7 pm

In view of this action, mobile internet services were also stopped in many areas of Jaipur. On the orders of Jaipur Divisional Commissioner V. Sarwan Kumar, the decision was taken to suspend 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G internet services from 12 midnight on Sunday to 12 midnight on Monday. However, after the situation became normal, internet services were resumed at around 7 pm on Monday evening. During this period, internet services of only some telecom companies could be restored.

Bulldozer action against illegal encroachment

The administration says that due to widening of the road, the traffic pressure on Hare Krishna Marg will be reduced and traffic from Nandpuri to Jagatpura will become more convenient. Apart from this, residents of more than 50 colonies of the area will get better facilities to reach Malviya Nagar, Pradhan Marg and Apex Circle.
