James Gunn has shared a substantial update on Mister Miracle‘s funny cameos. The upcoming animated DCU TV show is based on writer Tom King and artist Mitch Gerads’ acclaimed comic book series.
On Threadsa DC fan account recently claimed that Peter Safran “may have accidentally leaked the castings” for the Mister Miracle series. However, the fan also noted that the information wasn’t actually confirmed. Soon, James Gunn made it official while replying to their post. He wrote, “I’m not sure it gets more official than that. Loose Lips Safran strikes again!”
Later, Paul Scheerthe co-host of How Did This Get Made? podcast, commented in the thread and asked Gunn if he will get to reprise his role in the upcoming animated show. Scheer, alongside co-hosts June Diane Raphael and Jason Mantzoukas, had a cameo appearance on a panel of 2018 comic book Mister Miracle #12.
Gunn simply replied with a shrugging man emoji, suggesting that he doesn’t know anything. Perhaps he’s trying to conceal the cameo details at the moment. Yet, he didn’t deny Scheer’s question, meaning that fans might receive an update in the near future. It’s important to note that nothing is confirmed at this point.
