‘Jana Nayagan’ producer confirms film still awaits CBFC certificate
The makers of Jana Supervisor have shared a fresh update on the film’s release status as it continues to remain pending with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The film’s producer, Venkat K. Narayana of KVN Productions, spoke to the media after a temple visit and confirmed that the certification process was still ongoing.
He stated, “This is not the place to talk about Jana Nayagan. I came for temple darshan. But as I said, we are waiting for the certificate to come. I am sure it will be cleared soon. We will release it at the earliest.”
He further added that the team would announce the release date only after receiving the censor certificate. He said, “The release date will be announced as soon as we get the certificate. We will inform the audience in advance and plan a worldwide release.”

The producer also expressed happiness over the film’s lead star Vijay taking on a new role in public life. He mentioned that the team had originally planned a Pongal release, but the schedule was delayed due to certification procedures.
The project has remained in the spotlight in recent months due to delays, a leaked print, and growing anticipation among fans, as it is expected to be one of Vijay’s final films before focusing fully on his political career.
