Jeep SUV: Jeep India has launched a new sport diesel-automatic variant of its popular SUV Jeep Compass in the Indian market. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 21.99 lakh. The special thing about this new variant is that for the first time the company has given the option of 9-speed automatic gearbox in the entry-level sport trim of Compass. With this, it has become the most affordable automatic variant of the SUV. According to the company, its delivery will start from the second week of November 2026. Additionally, customers can also opt for an optional accessory pack priced at Rs 29,900.

Jeep Compass Sport AT has been introduced at an ex-showroom price of Rs 21.99 lakh. The arrival of this new variant will benefit those customers who want to buy the entry-level model of Compass and prefer automatic transmission instead of manual gearbox. It has a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The company will start its delivery from the second week of November 2026. If customers wish, they can also choose an additional accessory pack worth Rs 29,900.
Jeep Compass Sport AT exterior design
In terms of design, Jeep Compass Sport AT has LED headlamps and daytime running lights. Additionally, the SUV gets chrome window surrounds, silver finished 17-inch alloy wheels and black outside rearview mirrors. Turn indicators are also provided in these mirrors. Its other exterior features include a spoiler at the rear and a shark-fin antenna.
Jeep Compass Sport AT Interior and Features
Dark theme has been given in the cabin of the SUV. It gets gray fabric inserts on the dashboard and door pads, while the seats get fabric upholstery with blue stitching. Its interior has been kept in line with the entry-level Sport trim.
Talking about the features, it has an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Along with this, a four-speaker sound system and 3.5-inch digital instrument cluster is also provided.
Customers can also get ambient lighting and dashcam installed in the SUV through optional accessory packs. It is worth noting that both these features are not included in the standard features.

Jeep Compass Sport AT has a 2.0-litre Multijet second turbo-diesel engine, which generates a maximum power of 170 horsepower. This engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The new transmission option could be useful for customers who want to avoid the hassle of frequent gear changes in city traffic and long distance driving.
