According to eyewitnesses, around 9:45 pm on Thursday night, a scooter rider lost control and fell into the bushes near a culvert near the Zone-Ludru turn. Around 11:15 pm on Thursday night, 12-year-old Saurabh Nayak also died during treatment, taking the death toll to seven. Khushboo Kumari, who was injured in this incident, is still undergoing treatment in the hospital. People nearby alleged that the driver of the truck (JH 02 AJ 1377) was under the influence of alcohol. It is being told that the truck was coming from Torpa towards Karra at high speed and carelessly. During this time, it climbed over the people standing on the roadside. After the accident, the driver and helper fled from the spot.
