Read Desk. Even if there are four people in the house, the cost of mobile recharge for each person is different. This increases expenses at the end of the month. However, Jio has come up with a plan through which everyone can recharge together at a lower cost. So, there is no need to remember everyone's recharge date every time. With Jio's family postpaid plan, multiple family numbers can be added to a single bill. It also includes unlimited data, calling and OTT subscription.
What is Jio's ₹499 Family Pack postpaid recharge?
In the ₹499 family recharge plan, you can add three more numbers apart from one main number. This means that four members of a family can avail the benefits of a single recharge. However, if a member is already using a prepaid plan, then they will have to change their number before joining this plan.
A total of 75GB data is available in this ₹499 family pack. Additionally, every new number added to the plan will get 5GB additional data. After the limit is exhausted, you can use additional data at the rate of ₹10 per GB.
Apart from data, this plan also offers digital services like JioTV, JioCinema and JioCloud, making it a very affordable and beneficial option for your entire family.
Another family plan – ₹749:
This recharge is similar to the previous plan, but it offers additional benefits. More data is also available in this compared to previous recharge. You can add up to three numbers in this plan. This plan offers 100GB data, with 5GB additional data available for every number. Also, after the data limit is over, you will have to pay Rs 10 more.
More subscriptions are available in this pack than the previous pack. You get membership of Netflix Basic and Amazon Prime Lite. Apart from this, you will also get subscription to Jio Hotstar, Jio Cinema and Jio TV. Jio users will also get the benefit of Google AI Pro.
Through the partnership between Jio and Google, Jio customers will be able to use Google AI Pro for free for 18 months. Apart from this, Gemini 2.5 Pro will also get many more features along with the ability to capture photos and videos.
