JNU MBA Admission 2026: Apply till May 15
Jawaharlal Nehru University has continued the application process for MBA Admission 2026-28. Interested candidates can register online till 15 May 2026. Selection will be done on the basis of CAT score, group discussion and interview.
Education:The application process for JNU MBA Admission 2026 has reached the final stage. Candidates wishing to take admission in Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship of Jawaharlal Nehru University can apply online till May 15. This time too the university has laid special emphasis on industry-oriented management education, startup support and experiential learning.
MBA admission applications will remain open till May 15
Jawaharlal Nehru University has started the application process for MBA program 2026-28 batch. Candidates desirous of admission can register online by visiting the official website of the university. The last date for submission of applications has been fixed as 15 May 2026.
This MBA program is offered under the Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME), JNU. Started in the year 2019, this school has created its own identity in the corporate and management sector in a short time.
Focus on industry exposure and startup culture
At the institute, students are not limited to just theory but are also given industry-based learning experience. Efforts are made to connect students with the real business environment through case studies, industry visits, workshops and business simulations.
The university’s Atal Incubation Center helps students develop startups and business ideas. The institute claims that the students who have studied from here are working in companies like NABARD, Axis Bank, ITC Limited, KPMG and Ernst & Young.
Application fee and required documents
While applying online, candidates will have to upload some important documents. These include:
- passport size photo
- signature
- Marksheet of 10th and 12th
- Graduation mark sheet
- CAT 2025 Score
- GMAT Score for Foreign Candidates
The application fee has been kept at Rs 2000 for General, EWS and OBC categories. Whereas the application fee for SC, ST and disabled candidates has been fixed at Rs 1000.
Selection will be done on CAT score and interview
The admission process will be merit based. According to the university, 70 percent weightage will be given to CAT score in the selection. Apart from this, group discussion will get 10 percent weightage and personal interview will get 20 percent weightage.
In such a situation, candidates will have to pay attention to the preparation for the written examination as well as the interview and discussion stage.
