Major reshuffle in Gujarat to make judicial system effective, High Court transfers senior judicial officers

Gujarat High Court has made a major administrative reshuffle in the direction of making the judicial system of the state more effective and transparent. The High Court has issued orders for transfer and new appointments of many judicial officers of the level of senior civil judge. The High Court said in its notification that this reshuffle has been done keeping in mind the strengthening of judicial administration, speedy disposal of pending cases and better operation of judicial functions in various districts.

Under this order issued with the consent of the Chief Justice and other judges of the High Court, new responsibilities have been assigned to senior judicial officers working in many important districts of the state. This administrative change is being considered important towards bringing new energy and efficiency in the judicial system.

Know who got posting where

According to the order issued, Rajendra Ghanshyambhai Barot has been transferred from Deodar in Banaskantha district and appointed as Principal Senior Civil Judge at Godhra in Panchmahal district. Whereas Satishkumar Rajendra Singh has been sent to Ahmedabad (Rural) from Rajula in Amreli district.

Similarly, Dilipsingh Bhavsinghji Gohil, who was currently working as a full-time secretary in the District Legal Services Authority of Devbhoomi Dwarka district, will now hold the responsibility of Principal Senior Civil Judge and Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Petlad in Anand district.

Mahesh Benimadhav Bajpai has been transferred from Limbdi in Surendranagar district and appointed as Chief Judicial Magistrate and Additional Senior Civil Judge at Palanpur in Banaskantha district. Neeta Ajaykumar Choksi has been made the Chief Justice of Ahmedabad Small Causes Court from Dabhoi in Vadodara district.

Apart from this, Manish Dilipbhai Nandani has been sent from Borsad in Anand district to Vyara in Tapi district. Prakash Chunilal Soni has been made the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Ahmedabad City from Lunawada in Mahisagar district. Mehulkumar Kishore Singh Kher has been transferred from Jamnagar to Surat and Sanat Jayantilal Panchal has been transferred from Bhavnagar to Jamnagar.

This major reshuffle in judicial circles is being considered an important step towards increasing administrative balance and judicial efficiency. It is believed that the officers appointed at new places will strengthen the judicial process through their experience and working style. Especially in those districts where the pressure of cases is high, the appointment of experienced officers has increased the expectation of common people to get speedy justice.
