For the convenience of passengers during the festive season, Railways has decided to run a weekly festival special train between Jodhpur and MGR Chennai Central. At the same time, due to technical work, the routes of three trains including Leelan-Marudhar will be changed.
Jodhpur: In view of the increasing number of passengers during festivals, Railways has decided to run a weekly festival special train between Jodhpur and MGR Chennai Central. This train will make 9 trips each in both directions. Apart from this, due to technical work, Railways has decided to make temporary changes in the operating route of three trains including Lilan-Marudhar.
Passengers will get additional rail facilities during festivals
With the beginning of the festive season, the number of passengers in trains has started increasing. A large number of passengers travel from Rajasthan to different parts of the country. In view of this increasing demand of passengers, Railways has decided to run a festival special train between Jodhpur and Chennai.
This weekly special train will operate between Jodhpur and MGR Chennai Central. According to Railways, the train will make 9 trips each in both directions. This will provide additional rail option to people traveling between Jodhpur and Chennai during the festival period.
This special train will not only benefit the passengers of Rajasthan, but the passengers of other areas including Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra connected on its route are also expected to get additional facilities. Due to increase in demand for seats in regular trains during festivals, operation of special trains is considered important for the passengers.
Rail connection will increase between Jodhpur and Chennai
Due to the long distance from Jodhpur to Chennai, a large number of passengers travel long distances on this route. In view of the extra rush of passengers during festivals, running special trains by Railways will increase the capacity available on this route.
The operation of Festival Special Train can also provide an option to those passengers who are not able to get tickets in regular trains. The date, time, stoppage and other information related to the operation of the train will be as per the schedule of the Railways.
Passengers are advised to check the complete time table of the train and stoppage at the concerned station through the official channel of the Railways before booking the ticket.
Route of 3 trains will change due to technical work
Technical work is also being done by the Railways on different railway sections. Due to this, temporary changes will be made in the normal operating routes of some trains.
Due to technical work, three trains including Leelan-Marudhar will be diverted. That means these trains will be run through alternative routes instead of the scheduled routes. This may cause changes in the travel time and arrival time of some passengers at scheduled stations.
