Delhi: Before the start of the ODI series against Australia, a bad news has come for the England cricket team. Actually, the team's fast bowler Josh Tong is out of the entire series due to injury. He has injured his left toe, due to which he will have to return back to England. There his injury will be examined and the decision regarding further treatment will be taken by the English Board.
This news is also a matter of concern for England because the team also has to play a Test series against South Africa in the coming months. Josh Tong has been an important part of the Test team for the last one year and everyone will now keep an eye on his fitness.
Hanged out of ODI series against Australia
Josh Tong was not to participate in the T20 series against Australia. He was resting to prepare for the South Africa tour. However, after being ruled out of the ODI series, his injury has ruined England's plans.

Tong was troubled by injury during Pakistan tour
According to the report, Tang was also suffering from left toe problem during the Pakistan tour. For this reason, he was able to play only one match in England's four-match tri-series. This year he made his debut in ODI and T20 international cricket. He is part of England's fast bowling attack along with Jofra Archer, Gus Atkinson and Sonny Baker.
Relief for England with the return of Archer and Bethel
On one hand, England has suffered a loss due to Tong's absence, while on the other hand, the return of Joffra Archer has given strength to the team. Archer bowled brilliantly in the practice match played against Australia in Perth and took 3 wickets for 34 runs. England won this match by 92 runs.
Jacob Bethel, who played for RCB in IPL, has also returned with the team after recovering from a knee injury. He was away from the field since July. However, he did not get a place in the playing eleven in the practice match. He has been made the vice-captain of the tour along with Will Jacques.
