A judge has committed suicide in the national capital Delhi. According to the information, Judge Aman Kumar Sharma, living in Safdarjung area of Delhi, committed suicide by hanging himself in his house. Why the judge took such a step is not yet known. There is no information about suicide note being found from the spot. At present the police is investigating the matter.
According to the information, Judge Aman Sharma’s house is in Green Park area. Was working in Karkardooma Court. Safdarjung police station had received a PCR call about his suicide. According to the information, Aman Kumar Sharma had joined Delhi Judicial Service on 19 June 2021. He completed his law studies from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2018.
Police got information about suicide in the afternoon
According to police sources, this incident came to light this afternoon. Police said that they got information about this at around 1:45 pm. It is being told that this call was made by a family member.
During his tenure, he heard many criminal and civil cases and worked as a judge in different courts. From October 2025, he was posted as full-time secretary in North-East District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in Karkardooma Court. Police officials say that at present there are no signs of any conspiracy or foul play, but investigation is being done from every aspect.
