The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a serious warning regarding torrential rains and severe thunderstorms in about 25 states of the country. Due to the effect of atmospheric changes and cyclonic circulation, there is a possibility of storm blowing at a speed of 70 to 80 kilometers per hour in many areas. This speed is so fast that it is considered enough to uproot even old and heavy trees.

According to meteorologists, this disaster is not coming due to any one system. In fact, a strong cyclonic circle of upper air is formed over the west-central and north-west Bay of Bengal as well as the coasts of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Along with this, cyclonic pressure is also active in south-west Madhya Pradesh and eastern Uttar Pradesh. Together, these two weather systems are drawing a huge amount of moisture from the sea, due to which dense dark clouds have formed from the plains of the country to the high mountains.

The weather is going to be very bad in the next 24 hours in Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh including Delhi-NCR. In the capital Delhi, winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour will knock with heavy rain. The maximum temperature here can be around 34 degrees and the minimum can be around 28 degrees.

Talking about Uttar Pradesh, whether it is the western districts or the eastern belt, there will be heavy rain along with thunder. The impact of strong storm will be visible in districts like Noida, Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Agra, Kanpur, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur. The maximum temperature in Lucknow is expected to be around 33 degrees.

Fear of lightning in Bihar-Jharkhand, landslide alert in mountains

Monsoon mood in Eastern India can prove fatal. Winds will blow at a speed of 60 to 70 km per hour in almost the entire state of Bihar including Patna, Gaya, Buxar, Siwan, Darbhanga, Bhagalpur and Begusarai. The biggest fear is of lightning, hence people working in open fields and fields have been asked to remain alert. Winds blowing at a speed of 70 km can also wreak havoc in Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Bokaro and Dhanbad of Jharkhand.

The situation is extremely sensitive on the hill slopes of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. There is a danger of landslides and heavy debris falling from the mountains in areas like Nainital, Tehri, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Kullu, Manali and Kishtwar. On the other hand, in Western India, there are chances of heavy rain in Jaipur, Kota, Barmer, Jaisalmer of Rajasthan and Bhopal, Indore of Madhya Pradesh.
