Kamal Haasan met CM Vijay on the issues of Tamil film industry, made 6 big demands
Chennai. The meeting of two big faces of Tamil Film Industry and politics has given rise to new discussions in Tamil Nadu. Actor and Politician (Kamal Haasan) Recently the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu (Vijay) Met and discussed many important issues related to the film industry. During this, Kamal Haasan also placed six important demands before the state government.
Kamal Haasan congratulated Chief Minister Vijay on assuming the new responsibility and praised his vision for the development of the state. He said that Vijay’s humility and cordial behavior during the meeting impressed him a lot.
Government support sought for film industry
Kamal Haasan said that the Tamil film industry is going through many challenges at the moment and it needs strong support from the government. While sharing the information on social media platform X, he said that he has placed six important demands related to the industry before the Chief Minister.
These demands also include the suggestion of Tamil Nadu government to launch a state-run OTT platform. Apart from this, demands like permission of five shows per day in theaters and eight weeks OTT release window for films were also put forward.
Kamal Haasan also made social issues a part of the conversation. He appealed to completely eliminate the practice of manual scavenging and establish more libraries in villages.
Big thing said in praise of Vijay
Kamal Haasan wrote in his post that Chief Minister Vijay wants to work on many plans and dreams regarding the future of Tamil Nadu. He said that during his meeting with Vijay, he saw positive energy and serious thinking for the state.
He said that the Chief Minister’s simple behavior and respectful attitude towards the people makes him feel proud.
Have supported Vijay before also
This is not the first time that Kamal Haasan has publicly supported Vijay. Even after taking oath as Chief Minister, he had wished Vijay all the best and said that under his leadership Tamil Nadu would reach new heights.
Recently, Kamal Haasan had also openly appreciated the decision of Vijay government to close the liquor shops located near temples, schools and bus stands. He called it a necessary step taken in the interest of Tamil families.
Kamal and Rajinikanth will be seen together again
Kamal Haasan is also continuously active on the film front. He will soon be seen in director Ambariv’s film KH237. besides that Rajinikanth Also going to work in a new film with. It is being told that this will be the first big collaboration of the two veterans after the 1981 film ‘Thillu Mullu’.
